Two days after a German was killed, presumably by a fellow countryman in Mallorca, the police have announced new details of the crime. The fatal argument was about money debts, according to a statement published in Palma on Sunday. The alleged perpetrator is 27 years old.
The German was arrested in the early hours of Friday shortly after the crime near the crime scene – a bar on Ballermann. The police revealed that the crime took place in front of several mutual acquaintances of the two men.
Victim also held a Dominican Republic passport
According to media reports on the Spanish holiday island, the 37-year-old victim was stabbed over 1,200 euros. The suspected perpetrator comes from Berlin, wrote the “Diario de Mallorca”. He should be brought before the examining judge on Sunday, according to the paper.
According to official information, both the alleged perpetrator and the victim lived permanently on the island and were also registered there. Shortly after the argument, according to media reports, a taxi driver found the bleeding victim on Carrer del Llaüt, which runs parallel to the beach on Ballermann.
