The stars of various Indian film industries have been leaving the country for the past few days. A number of stars have already migrated to the UAE. Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan left India for Dubai yesterday morning. He was seen at the Mumbai airport.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is having a very busy time. The actress left India for Dubai today with her daughter Aaradhya after returning from Paris Fashion Week. Apart from that, a bunch of stars including Rekha, Karan Johar, Mallika Sherawat, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol have crossed over to the desert country. But why did everyone fly to Dubai?

DNA India reported in a report that the ‘International Film Academy Awards 2024’ (IIFA) is being held in the United Arab Emirates for the third time. The event kicked off on Friday (September 27) at Dubai’s Yas Island. This event will continue till September 29. Apart from Bollywood, stars from the southern film industry (Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada) have joined it.

IIFA Awards Founder-Director Andre Timmins said, ‘Rekha will perform in the finale of the event. He will perform for 22 minutes with 150 dancers. He is working day and night for this. Her outfit was designed by Manish Malhotra. Apart from that, Vicky Kaushal, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor will perform on the stage.’

The 25th edition of IIFA Awards will be held in Jaipur, India. It will be held on March 7-9, 2025. IIFA Awards founder-director Andre Timmins said, ‘We have planned to bring the Khan trio (Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan) together for the 25th edition.’

IIFA Awards were held for the first time in 2000. It was held in London, UK. Then the awards ceremony was held in places like Johannesburg, Singapore, Amsterdam, Dubai, Yorkshire, Thailand, Macao, Toronto, Bangkok.
