We have 43 branches. More than 40 thousand students are studying in it. So far we have given degrees to many people in cinema like Sathyaraj, Nasser, Vivek. There is a team of seven for this. They are the ones who decide who gets the doctorate. That is how Simbu’s name was considered for the doctorate. When my daughter told me, I asked, ‘Why give it to Simbu?’ He has been working in all fields of cinema since the age of six. They said it would be nice to give him a doctorate. Then I said yes too.
