Why does Ducati use the color yellow on its racing bikes?

Ducati pays tribute to its history in the world of racing by announcing that the official WorldSBK team (Ducati Aruba.it Racing Team) and MotoGP (Ducati Lenovo Team) will compete in the Misano rounds of their respective World Championships with livery special characterized for the return of the Giallo Ducati color.

The project was presented during a press conference held at the Misano Marco Simoncelli World Circuit in which the Director of the Centro Stile Ducati, Andrea Ferraresi, together with the Italian designer Aldo Drudiauthor of the special decoration.
