Michel Rocard loved Africa, without display, with sincerity. Member of the European Parliament where he chaired the Development and Cooperation Committee from 1997 to 1999, Michel Rocard was familiar with all the agreements that bind Europe to the countries of Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP), from those of Yaoundé (1963) to those of Cotonou (2000) via the Lomé agreements (1975). A great opportunity to meet the men and women of the continent and to be informed of their needs.
