The film ‘Beast’ directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar and starring Commander Vijay has been completed and is currently being promoted. The much-anticipated film is set to release in theaters on April 13. The film stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaragavan, Ankur Ajith Vikal, Aparna Das and Yogi Babu among others. Anirudh, Nelson and Pooja Hegde attended the function in Hyderabad and danced to an Arabic song.

Following this, Nelson, the director and narrator of ‘Beast’, shared information about why Pooja chose Hegde to co-star with Vijay in the film. According to him, not only was actress Pooja Hegde getting a chemistry workout, she was well suited for the film and worked well with the crew. ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramalo’ was released while choosing the heroine in ‘Beast’. Pooja Hegde’s performance in the film was excellent and she won the hearts of many. Pooja Hegde was the best choice for me as I thought I should sign the new heroine who has not worked with Vijay till now, so I said I signed him.
Speaking about Pooja, he said that actress Pooja Hegde had worked hard for the film ‘Beast’ and although she could not speak Tamil fluently, she had learned and spoken Tamil for the film. The third song of the film, Beast Mode, which was released yesterday, has also been well received by the fans as the two songs from the film have already been released as ‘Arabic’ and ‘Jalio Gymkhana’.
