The American electric car giant Tesla is recalling 1.6 million vehicles in China for a software update that presents “security risks”, the market regulator announced on Friday.

This recall aims to correct software defects for assisted driving as well as vehicle door locking, the markets regulator (SAMR) said in a press release.
