1. The Central Government said that the Popular Front of India and its affiliates were involved in anti-national activities and were in touch with terrorist organizations including IS.
2. The central government has said that it was involved in activities inciting religious riots and violence and involved in illegal financial transactions.
3. The central government has accused organizations including the Popular Front of India of providing weapons training to engage in violence, plotting to attack the Prime Minister and illegal use of arms and explosives.
4. The central government has said that the Popular Front of India and its affiliates have coordinated protests against the government on issues including hijab, National Citizenship Amendment Act, repeal of Article 370 which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
5. The Popular Front of India and its affiliates are reported to have acted like banned movements including the Indian Mujahideen.
