The story repeats itself. As part of the International Day Against Homophobia, organized by the Professional Football League (LFP), Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 players wore flocked rainbow-colored jerseys this weekend. But some of them, including some players from Toulouse FC, the Nantais Mostafa Mohamed or the Guingampais Donatien Gomis, refused the initiative, as did the former Parisian Idrissa Gueye last year. The Rouge Direct collective asks that refractory players be heard by their employers in order to “make their motivations public”.
