A curious error is making the popular weather app “WeatherPro” completely useless at the moment – because the Meteogroup is almost predicting a little winter for the next week.

It’s true, somehow the weather is going crazy. There are many reasons for this, but the temperatures can still be summarized under the term “summer”. It is all the more shocking what the popular weather app “WeatherPro” is currently predicting for the coming week. So threatens completely Germany a temperature drop of more than 20 degrees – “Winter is coming”.

Meteogroup delivers strange weather data

The IT Magazine “iPhone-Ticker” makes the weather data from the Meteogroup responsible for the obviously incorrect information in the app. In fact, a look at the Vendor’s websitethat it doesn’t look much better there either. Other providers like “Weather online” or “Wetter.de“, who get their data from different sources. Most of them expect a little rain for Hamburg, but the temperatures are consistently above 20 degrees Celsius.

It is not known exactly where Meteogroup’s error lies. With “WeatherPro” being one of the most popular apps, understandably a lot of people are very confused on social media.

No extreme weather conditions expected

There, users ask, for example, whether the app might have been hacked. The information provided by the software also causes a lot of confusion abroad. But there are also people who saw the good in such a drastic drop in temperature and hoped, at least temporarily, that this would actually happen. So wrote someone: “If you’re sitting in your attic apartment, which is still too warm, and the weather app is predicting wintry temperatures… One can still dream!”
