jpnn.comJAKARTA – Deputy General Chair of the NasDem Party, Saan Mustopa, said that Surya Paloh was unable to attend the meeting between the general chairs of political parties supporting the government and President Prabowo Subianto.
He said that Surya Paloh was unable to attend because he had been abroad for some time and his presence was represented by the Chairman of the NasDem Party Fraction of the DPR RI, Viktor Laiskodat.
Therefore, he ensured that the relationship between the General Chair of the NasDem Party and President Prabowo Subianto remained warm, even though he was not present at the meeting of political party leaders at Prabowo’s residence on Saturday (28/12).
“There are no problems, in fact (the relationship) is getting warmer,” said Saan at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Sunday (29/12).
According to him, the NasDem Party remains committed to being part of President Prabowo’s government, and is committed to continuing to support various policies that will be implemented.
However, so far Saan admits that he has not received any information regarding the topics discussed at the meeting of the general chairs of the government coalition political parties because he is currently undergoing a recess period in the DPR RI by visiting the electoral district.
“That’s regular, Pak Prabowo is the president, he really wants to hold regular inter-party meetings,” he said.
According to him, the meeting usually discusses various issues and policies that will be taken, one of which is related to Christmas and New Year. Some time ago a meeting between the general chairs of political parties was held at the Palace.
Saan Mustofa said that Surya Paloh was unable to attend because he had been abroad for some time.
