According to Cleofas Josué Culajay Tuquer, Insivumeh forecaster, he explained that on Monday, July 31, the approach and passage of the Eastern wave No. 18 of the season is expected, this could cause rain accompanied by electrical activity at the end of the afternoon in most of the national territory.
He added that the largest accumulated rainfall is expected in the regions of Bocacosta, South of the West and Central Highlands. “In the days that follow, the warm environment will continue with some local rains in the southern to central regions of the country, without ruling out rains over Petén and Izabal,” explained the forecaster.
