Wireless charging is very much liked in the electronic market. Wireless charging option is provided in many premium smartphones including iPhone. Actually, wireless charging does not require any type of charger, due to which many mobile and smartphone users prefer wireless charging. Nowadays, even in modern cars, the option of wireless smartphone charging is given. But the question arises whether wireless charging is beneficial in practical use.
Wireless charging takes longer time.
If you charge any of your electronic devices through wireless charging, it takes a lot of time. Wireless takes about 4 to 8 hours to charge your phone. In such a situation, wireless charging is not a profitable deal, because in today’s time people have less time. This is the reason why people prefer 100W and 120W wired chargers, which charge the smartphone in 10 to 15 minutes. This is the reason why the wireless charging market has not grown.
More money for wireless charging
Smartphones and smartwatches that provide wireless charging have a higher price because for wireless charging, changes have to be made in the hardware of the phone, whereas wireless charging takes more time. In such a situation, there is no need to pay much money for wireless charging. On one hand, one has to pay more for a phone with wireless charging, on the other hand, the wireless charger has to be purchased separately.
Problem of overheating in smartphone
If you charge your smartphone in wireless mode, you must have realized that the smartphone faces the problem of overheating, due to which there is a risk of the phone’s battery getting damaged. Also, the processing power of the phone may be affected. Some people do gaming while using wireless charging, this can be extremely dangerous.
not charging properly
For wireless charging, the phone has to be placed on a proper surface. But sometimes there is a problem in charging due to the phone moving around a bit, due to which the phone does not charge properly. There is more difficulty in wireless charging in the car, because the position of the device changes when the car is moving, due to which charging does not happen. However, such problems are less common in magnetic wireless chargers.
wastage of electricity
Charging a smartphone through wireless mode causes huge wastage of electricity, because wireless charging takes several hours, which consumes more electricity, whereas wireless consumes less electricity. Also, wireless chargers are more expensive than wired chargers. In such a situation, it is better to use a wired charger.
