Why would you want to walk on the moon again?

by time news

First there was Neil Armstrong with Apollo 11 on July 21, 1969. Then eleven other Americans walked on the Moon in the space of a few years. But today, it has already been more than forty-seven years since a human being has touched the surface of our satellite. The exorbitant costs of these expeditions have, in fact, discouraged all governments from relaunching this type of mission.

But this lack of interest in the Moon seems to have come to an end. The United States plans to send humans to its surface again by 2024, via the Artemis mission. China, Europe, Russia and Japan have also expressed similar ambitions in the more or less long term.

How can this renewed interest be explained? What concrete interests are there in wanting to set foot on the Moon again? And how to conduct such a business? Explanations in video and with great reinforcements of special effects.
