WI vs ENG: Holder takes four wickets off four balls for West Indies in T20 series against England

Kensington: West Indies vs England by 17 runs in the decisive final of the T20 series against England. England needed 20 runs to win the last over bowled by Jason Holder. Holder became the first bowler to score a hat-trick in T20I for the Windies. Holder became only the fourth bowler in T20 history to take four wickets in a row. Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga, Ireland’s Curtis Comfer and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan are the other players to have achieved this feat before Golder. Holder, who had taken one wicket for 25 runs in two overs before coming to bowl the last over, finished the last over with five wickets for 27 runs in 2.5 overs.

Earlier, West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard (41 * off 25 balls), Rowman Powell (35 off 17 balls), Kyle Meyers (31 off 19 balls) and Brandon King (34 off 31 balls) put on 179 for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, James Vince (55 off 35 balls) and Sam Billings (41 off 28 balls) were the only batsmen to bat for England.
