Before his death, Richard Lugner apparently had one big wish. At the age of 91, he was apparently planning to have more children.

On August 12, Richard Lugner died at the age of 91. In recent years, the building contractor had made headlines with his affairs with women even more than with his business affairs. A few months before his death, he had married his sixth wife, Simone Lugner, known as “Bienchen.” The two apparently had big plans for the future. In addition to trips abroad, a baby was also being discussed.

Lugner’s widow revealed this in an interview with the Austrian newspaper “Krone”. “Richard also spoke of having a child. He had himself tested and said it would still be OK for him,” explains the 42-year-old. The businessman brought a total of four adult children from previous relationships into their marriage. They are from three different women.

Richard Lugner is said to have dreamed of relaxing on beaches and discovering the world. His travel list also included places like Greece, Scotland, India and the Maldives, as Simone Lugner reports.

In her interview, she also talks about her husband’s death. They found him dead in his bed on the morning of August 12th. “It was about 8:30 a.m. when I tried to wake him up. The TV was off, he was lying in bed as if he was sleeping,” she says. She felt “that he was very cold,” “shook him” and finally “called the emergency services.”
