In Kerala, the police have arrested a brutal husband who assaulted his wife who went to work against her will, recorded the video and posted it on the internet.
27-year-old Dileep lives with his wife Adira in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. As the couple has two children, Adira went to work against Dileep’s wishes, causing a dispute between the husband and wife. Dileep brutally assaulted his wife Adira who went to work despite her protest. Apart from the attack, Dileep also recorded it as a video and posted it on the internet.
In the heart-wrenching video footage, Dileep’s wife Adira’s face is shown bleeding. The video, which has gone viral on the internet, features footage of Dileep confessing to brutally assaulting his wife and footage of his wife Adira saying that she is going to work to pay off debts. “I’m going to work to pay off the debt. If Dilipaton works and pays me, I won’t go to work. I’ll stay home and take care of the kids.” Adira said that she could not bear her husband’s attack and finally agreed to quit her job. The video ends with Dileep saying that his wife will never go back to work.
Following the incident, Dileep’s wife Adira lodged a complaint with the Malayankeel police. Based on this Dileep was arrested. Dileep, who is currently in judicial custody, has been booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 498 (A) (abuse of a woman by her husband or husband’s relative), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (wounding with dangerous weapons) and 294 (B). (Singing, reciting or uttering obscene song or words) have been booked under sections.
