Random: Wii U emulation on Valve’s Steam Deck supports rotation controls

Steam Deck from Valve has already proven itself capable of running all kinds of video game emulators. What’s even more impressive is how capable it is when it comes to Wii U and 3DS emulation.

As highlighted by the site’s Steam Deck HQ platform, the Valve handheld device can not only split screen on screens using appropriate emulators (Citra for 3DS and Cemu for Wii U) but can also recreate the gyroscope controls found on some Wii U titles.

It has appeared in some Wii U games not yet available on the Nintendo Switch – The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and Star Fox Zero. You can also watch the full video of Star Fox Zero in action.

And again, if you’re only interested in dual-screen games on your 3DS (or Wii U), this is also possible with Steam Deck. Below is a Proof of Concept feature. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D:
