**Interception Attempt in Monday Night Football Leave Chiefs Disappointed**
In a surprising turn of events during Monday night’s game, rookie Jalen Carter of the Kansas City Chiefs attempted an interception that left his teammates shocked and amused. The game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium ended with a 21-17 win for the Eagles, but Carter almost executed a bold play that would have altered the outcome.
During the first half, with just 2 seconds left on the clock, quarterback Patrick Mahomes spiked the ball to stop the clock, allowing Harrison Butker to attempt a 43-yard field goal. As the ball was spiked, Carter dove between the legs of the center, nearly pulling off a wild interception that would have stolen three points from the Chiefs.
