Chennai: Kodaikanal is one of the most important tourist destinations in Tamil Nadu. Natural resources, herbs and rare wildlife have been severely affected by the wildfires that have been spreading there for the past few days. More than 500 acres of forest are said to have been destroyed. More than 50 foresters are actively involved in putting out the fire.
