Wildfires are out of control in California. The fire spread, destroying all areas of the country and endangering the population.
The “Los Angeles Times” spoke of “monster fires”: The Northeast Bridge Fire of the metropolis of Los Angeles exploded and ignited more than eight times within a few hours. According to the fire chief, the bridge fire is currently burning on almost 190 square kilometers of land. A total of 13 people, including 11 firefighters, have been injured since the Fire Line went out in San Bernardino County last Thursday, the newspaper said.
Southern Californians suffer from air pollution from fires
On Tuesday, flames from the fire that had been burning since Monday reached the area around an airport about an hour’s drive south of Los Angeles in Orange County. According to Calfire, the so-called Airport Fire continues to spread. More than 600 firefighters are on the job on the ground with support from the air. It is not yet known what caused the airport fire.
The fires worsened the air quality in southern California, as the US broadcaster CBS reported with reference to the responsible management authority. As a result, the risk index has reached a high point that is higher than the acceptable level.
Every year in California, wildfires cause great destruction to forests and residential areas. It has been very hot in the area for the past few days. In view of climate change, experts warn that fire is increasing and destroying.
