Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, is taking the threat of Instagram Threads seriously and is making new changes to Twitter to open up new avenues for users to get the most out of the platform. Twitter recently began paying creators a portion of the ad revenue that was published in replies to their posts, and last weekend Musk made some rate cap and policy changes to accounts that were eligible for monetization after hearing user feedback.

Now, Twitter appears to be preparing a feature that allows verified organizations on the platform to post job openings on their profiles. The social media giant has also created an official account @TwitterHiringbut he hasn’t tweeted anything about her yet.

The new “Job Listings” function that would be introduced on Twitter will allow companies to post job offers directly on their profiles, which will provide the possibility for their followers to see them. In addition, they may use hashtags or promotional tweets to increase the visibility of these job opportunities. This feature will be available in the Gold Badge Paid Pack, allowing businesses that purchase it to take advantage of this option.

Companies will be able to use the social network as a new way of posting job offers. A new feature that is currently being developed.

Job offers will be displayed in a carousel at the bottom of the screen, allowing users to view all available opportunities easily and quickly.

This addition represents a natural step for the platform, as many users turn to Twitter to seek support from their followers in their job search. Therefore, this feature represents a further step in that direction, providing a more complete experience for both employer companies and job seekers on the platform.

A screenshot shared by app researcher Nima Owji shows the feature, which Twitter reportedly calls “Twitter Recruitment.” The screenshot says that the feature allows verified organizations to post jobs and attract talent for open positions. These organizations can put up to five job postings on their profiles.

“Twitter will allow verified organizations to import all their work to Twitter. Connect a compatible applicant tracking system or XML feed to add your job postings to Twitter in minutes,” Owji said in the tweet.

Although Twitter has yet to officially announce the job posting feature, some verified organizations have already been able to post job listings to their Twitter bios on their profiles. Job listings take interested candidates directly to the company’s website, where they can learn more about the position and submit an application.

This feature isn’t a complete surprise, given that Twitter owner Elon Musk hinted at the feature back in May. After a user suggested that Twitter should implement dating features, Musk responded: “Interesting idea, maybe works too.”

With this new feature, Twitter is looking to compete with popular companies like LinkedIn and Indeed. It’s worth noting that Twitter bought a job search tech startup called Laskie in May, which was the company’s first acquisition since Musk bought the app. The acquisition may have helped the social media giant develop and ship the feature.

It seems that verified organizations will not have to pay extra to access the job posting feature. Media company Workweek has gained access to the job postings feature, and its CEO, Adam Ryan, says the feature is included in Twitter’s $1,000-per-month package on the Verified for Organizations plan.
