Here we tell you what we know about the stake of Emma Coronel as model in the Milan Fashion Week.

Milan Fashion Week takes place twice a year, in September and February, and lasts for seven days. During this event, the major Italian fashion houses present their major seasonal collections, highlighting the elegance and luxury of Italian fashion.

This time, the event will take place from September 17 to 23 and will feature 58 catwalks and three other virtual shows, and as expected, will bring together buyers, journalists, fashion lovers from around the world and some celebrities.

After the latter, one of the names that has captured the attention on social media is that of Emma Coronel Aispur, former American beauty queen and wife of Mexican drug trafficker Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.

One year after leaving prison, “El Chapo’s” wife will debut as a model at Milan Fashion Week.

Coronel will participate as a model in Milan Fashion Week, alongside designer April Black Diamond, who was in charge of confirming the news through her IG.

“Introducing Milan’s newest model. We are thrilled to welcome Emma Coronel to the international designer April Black Diamond family. This rising star redefines elegance with bold style, timeless beauty and fierce confidence. Get ready to witness her incredible journey as she takes over the fashion world,” the designer wrote.

The fashion firm also shared another image where the wife of the former Mexican drug trafficker who served as leader of the Sinaloa Cartel can be seen wearing one of its designs.

Emma Coronel was released on Wednesday, September 13, in the United States after serving almost two of three years of her sentence for drug trafficking and money laundering. Coronel, 35, left a social rehabilitation center in Long Beach (California), south of Los Angeles, the Federal Bureau of Prisons reported.
