On past occasions, tax incentives were distributed to all gasolines or only to one type of fuel, but this time, as has happened before, was not given to any.

For this reason the price of gasoline could vary from September 7-13except for Premium gasoline, since it has not received support since October 2023.

A similar scenario occurs with Diesel, which has not received fiscal stimulus since the second half of July, when it obtained 5.5 percent support.

In the case of Magna gasoline, the price of the fiscal stimulus will remain at 6.17 pesosJust last week this fuel had 3.3 percent support.

What taxes will have to be paid per litre of petrol and diesel?

The percentages of the fiscal stimulus on gasoline will be in effect from September 7-13, 2024.

In this sense, the prices will be as follows:

  • Gasoline with less than 91 octane (Magna): Drivers will have to pay 6.17 pesos tax per liter
  • Gasoline greater than or equal to 91 octane (Premium): As in January of last year, the price remains at 5.21 pesos per liter
  • For diesel: The tax to be paid is 6.78 pesos per liter
