The 20-year-old Omar joined the youth department of the team from the port city at the age of 9 and played in all the different children’s teams in the department. As a teenager, Amr moved for two years to Hapoel BS, and then returned to Ashdod’s youth team. Last season, the young goalkeeper went out on loan in League A, and this season he officially joined the senior team.
