CM Yogi participated in the smartphone-tablet distribution campaign of the state government at the Government Jubilee Inter College. During this, he gave tablets to 1500 students and smartphones to 3 thousand.

CM launches Project Alankar
The CM also laid the foundation stone of Project Alankar works worth Rs 17.35 crore in 26 secondary schools and 330 premium smart class rooms to be built at a cost of Rs 7.58 crore in 141 secondary schools. He also handed over smart class certificates to the principals of 4 inter colleges. Yogi said that UP will not only have a smart city, but by connecting with smartphones and smart classes, the youth of UP will become smart youth in front of the whole world.

2 crore youth will get smart phones-tablets
Yogi said that by launching Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme in November 2021, he started the program of distribution of smartphones and tablets. Its objective is to make the youth power digitally competent. So that in future no epidemic like Corona can disrupt studies. During the Corona period, when physical education had come to a standstill, PM Modi gave the vision of connecting with technology. Today, smartphones and tablets have been made available to 20 lakh youth in the state without any discrimination. Smartphones and tablets will be provided to 2 crore youth in the state.

Youth will move towards self-reliance through schemes
CM Yogi said that those schemes of Central and State Government have also been added to these smartphones and tablets. Which are necessary for the future of the youth and their self-reliance. By becoming technically competent, the youth will move forward and contribute in realizing the vision of a developed India. He called upon the youth to move forward with a resolve to make UP a leader in Digital India.

‘Secondary schools will not remain dilapidated’
Yogi said- Project Alankar has been started to strengthen the dilapidated secondary schools with infrastructure. The government is giving money, no school should be dilapidated. The government gives 100% grant for the government school in Project Alankar. Whereas the government gives 75 percent grant to an aided non-government school and 25 percent has to be given by the school management. Sanskrit schools get 90 percent grant in this. He said that along with freeing the school from its dilapidated condition, attention should also be paid to regular cleaning.

Money received from CRS fund for premium smart class
While discussing the premium smart classes for secondary schools, CM Yogi said – money is being provided for this from CRS fund. Smart class can be made more useful by connecting it with digital library. Yogi said- Teachers and students must use smart class. The whole world is connecting with it. The company installing it will provide free service for some time. When you start learning, you will not have to face defeat anywhere.
