FuturLab have announced the spiritual successor to the Velocity series, IKARO Will Not Die, for Xbox Series and PC, although without a release date.
IKARO: Will Not Die It was seen during the Xbox event dedicated to third parties, Xbox Partner Preview. According to what was seen during the event, the title will allow us to experience maximum fluidity of movement in this game that seems to be the spiritual successor of the acclaimed Velocity 2X. This new arcade action title offers an exhilarating mix of gravitational action and unique combat in momentum-based gameplay.
We will control a pilot who uses a special ship capable of defying gravity and combating his enemies. The game combines elements of racing, shooting and platforming, with a retro style and an electronic soundtrack. FuturLab promises to offer a fluid and stimulating experience, with different sci-fi environments and fun abilities
IKARO: Will Not Die allows us master the game’s gravity defying systems to surf through science fiction environments, participate in spectacular combats by chaining skills. All this using a host of cool skills in the latest FuturLab title. If you don’t know this studio, you surely know both the Velocity saga and their incredible PowerWash Simulator of which they are the authors.
