Adviser Supradeep Chakma emphasized on developing livelihood development in the three hill districts to make the hill dwellers financially independent. He said, we will do all the work to improve the living standards of the people of the hilly areas. Cultivation of cashew nut and ikhur will be increased as cash crops in hilly soil.
He said that the number of women members will be increased in the three district councils. Three ambulances will be arranged for the three hill districts in consultation with the Ministry of Health for the treatment of pregnant women and children.
The advisor also said that a nursing college will be established in Khagrachari and a college in Bilaichari for the hill dwellers. Arrangements will be made to teach Bengali to those who cannot speak Bengali.
Adviser Supradeep Chakma said that the district councils will be restructured along with building good governance.
