This precious house is located on 11 acres of land in Abilene, Kansas, USA. It was built in the 1960s to store and launch ballistic missiles. From the outside, only a small entrance can be seen above the ground. The sales advertisement states that the cellar will be able to withstand nuclear attacks.
Although it is an underground cellar, it has all the facilities to get proper water and electricity and to discharge sewage. The basement house has three main parts, including the entrance. The first two-story section of the descent served as a launch control center. The same was true of the quarters of those on the missile launch team. This part is built on an area of 1200 square feet.
The main missile vault was built at a depth of 170 feet. The upstairs and basement are connected by a tunnel. Inside the basement is a 9,900-square-foot living space. Those who come to buy can use this place as a house to stay or a different hotel. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person.
Outside the basement there is a semi-circular building of 4000 square feet and another building with only one room which can be used as an office or storage center. The missile vault was first launched in March 2020 in search of new owners. The price at that time was $ 4,20,000 (Rs. 3 crore 16 lakhs). However, due to non-sale, the price has been reduced to $ 3,80,000 (Rs. 2 crore 86 lakhs).
