Will Sanju raise his cup this time? They have given a big signal

Sanju Samson and Rajasthan Royals missed out on the title in the 15th edition of the IPL. It was the first time since the inaugural season that the Pink City qualified for the finals of the IPL.

The fans firmly believed that Rajasthan would lift the cup for Shane Warne who won them their first title. But IPL debutants Gujarat Titans and Hardik and his team made Rajasthan Royals tear away at their home ground, Motera.

Rajasthan and Sanju are gearing up to regain the title they lost last season. Last December, Rajasthan made their goal clear by bringing in the fast bowling all-rounder that the team needed.

The performances of the Royals players show that it will be a little easier for Rajasthan to reach that goal this time. In batting and bowling, the players of Rajasthan Royals continue to show strength in other leagues.

Jos Buttler, the last Orange Cap winner, is playing in SA20, the South African T20 league. Buttler, who runs without looking ahead when he reaches the crease, brings out the same performance for Paul Royals.

Shimron Hetmyer, who was retained by Rajasthan Royals before the mini-auction, is another player who exudes his class. Shimron showed his Caribbean prowess in the Gulf Giants-Desert Vipers match in the ILT T20.

Hetty scored 70 runs from 35 balls. Hetmyer hit five sixes and five fours to lay the foundation for the Giants’ victory.

Rajasthan Royals are excited about yet another batsman from the ILT T20 itself. For Dubai Capitals, former England captain Joe Root is doing wonders with big stars.

Root is making waves in the league by showing his critics that he can do T20 too. His unbeaten 80 off 54 balls against Sharjah Warriors and 82 runs against Mumbai Emirates are not a small hope instilling hope in the fans.

Root has already scored 214 runs at an average of 53.5 and a strike rate of 134.

Apart from them, Jason Holder has been putting up a flawless performance for Durban Supergiants in SA T20 and Trent Boult for Mumbai Emirates in ILT T20.

If they can perform for Rajasthan in the IPL that starts in March, then Rajasthan can be the front team for the IPL 2023 title.
