Saudi Foreign Minister Amir Faisal bin Farhan has said he will support Yemen’s legitimate government and work to resolve the conflict. He was speaking at a security conference in Munich.
Places controlled by the legitimate government of Yemen will be protected. He added that they hoped the Houthis would prioritize the interests of Yemen over the interests of any outside party.

“Yemen’s allies are following NATO standards in protecting civilians,” he said. The basis for protecting civilians in Yemen is the ceasefire. There is a mechanism to investigate the events in Yemen. ” The Saudi Foreign Minister clarified.
When asked about the Russia-Ukraine war, he said that any crisis should be resolved through dialogue. They have a historic policy that focuses on the stability of energy prices. They work with OPEC partners to maintain market stability and avoid the oil crisis.
Four rounds of talks have been held with Iran. The foreign minister said they were waiting for the fifth round of talks, though not much progress had been made.
