The group that marked an entire generation
Kudai is a pop rock and pop punk band from Chile, formed in 1999. Originally, the group was called Ciao and consisted of Pablo Holman, Bárbara Sepúlveda, Tomás Manzi and Nicole Natalino. In 2003, they changed their name to Kudai, which comes from the Mapudungun word “kudau”, meaning “young worker”.
The group achieved great popularity in Latin America and Spain in the 2000s. Their music is characterized by lyrics that address adolescent themes such as love, heartbreak, rebellion and social problems.
