While talking to journalists, the Law Minister said that a newspaper has said that the relaxation of 5 years in the upper limit of police employees in the police rules has been abolished. When we first made the rules in 1996, two years relaxation was given in the upper limit of employees in police recruitment. In the year 2000, it was increased from two to five years. In 2024, it was again made five years. When it was made five years this time, the previous five years were inadvertently deleted. Therefore, due to the same rule being mentioned twice, one rule has been deleted. The five-year relaxation in the upper limit in police recruitment still remains.

Answer given in fake Aadhaar card case

Regarding the fake ID cards being made in Jaisalmer, he said that there will be a CBI investigation into it. The government has taken immediate cognizance and registered a case in this matter. The seriousness of the matter can also be gauged from the fact that this district borders Pakistan. A large number of fake Aadhaar cards have been made on the India-Pakistan border. In national security, a thorough investigation of this entire matter is necessary. It has been decided to hand over the investigation of this matter to the CBI. Records of e-mitra operators will be checked
He said that we have announced on the floor of the assembly that all the e-mitra holders in Rajasthan will be thoroughly investigated. Along with this, the records of one year of all e-mitra operators will also be investigated. On the basis of the records, it will be seen whose Aadhaar cards and documents they have made in a year. Along with this, the e-mitra holders who are operating the machine at some other place instead of the place where it has been allotted are also being investigated. In the first phase of investigation, 14 machines have come under the scope of investigation, which were being operated fraudulently, they have now been shut down.

Now, by running an intensive campaign across Rajasthan, e-mitras who make fake documents will be identified. Along with this, those e-mitras who charge more money against the rules will also be penalized. Strict action will also be taken against those e-mitra operators who make documents with wrong name and date of birth.
