The largest civilized meat association in the world has been finally approved by the Israeli Innovation Authority, and will receive government funding in the amount of NIS 60 million, for the entire period of its activity, which will be three years. The establishment of the consortium was led by The Good Food Institute Israel Gaya Savyon, winner of the GFI grant, who is responsible for initiating and coordinating the project, and Tnuva, which heads the consortium. The consortium consists of 14 companies, including some of the world’s leading cultured meat companies, as well as 10 academic laboratories.
