For this, the company has joined hands with the country’s leading IT company Infosys. In such a situation, LIC customers will be able to use digital services in LIC like the digital services of banks. Till now, LIC customers have to go to the home branch to use many types of services. On the contrary, bank customers can avail many such services by going to any branch in the country. There is no need to go to the home branch for this.

Infosys provides its services to many banks and other institutions in the country. Infosys’ SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) software is used by many banks. Many companies related to the oil and gas sector also use software developed by Infosys. Apart from these, Infosys’ software is also used in many other sectors including healthcare, logistics and manufacturing. LIC has issued a press release and provided information about this.

What will Infosys do for LIC?

LIC has launched a digital transformation program called DIVE (Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement). LIC has appointed Infosys to build its new and state-of-the-art next-gen digital platform DIVE. This digital platform will be modular, flexible and cloud-native.

  • Customers will get a variety of services including integrated end-to-end digital insurance.
  • Through this platform, a digital front-end platform will be available for branch employees.

Regarding this, LIC CEO and MD Siddharth Mohanty said that his aim is to transform LIC into an organization providing life insurance solutions that emphasizes the use of technology. He said that LIC has partnered with Infosys to provide world-class digital facilities to customers and others. He said that technology can help us get better information about our customers and provide better service by taking advantage of the country’s advanced digital eco-system.
