Will you compete strongly in Steam Deck? The OneXPlayer 2 will offer removable remotes, a huge screen and powerful processors

by time news

After launching the OneXPlayer Mini earlier this year, a Switch-like portable console with impressive performance, Chinese manufacturer One Netbook is starting to release teasers ahead of the announcement later this week of OneXPlayer 2, a larger and more advanced portable console, which is expected to hit stores in China – and to customers in the West – early this year the next

This time the console adopts a design that includes a pair of removable remotes, just like those of the Switch console, and an 8.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2.6K. The specifications are expected to include AMD Ryzen 7 6800U or Intel’s 13th generation Core i7 processors, for the buyer’s choice. The new console will also include a pair of Harman brand speakers, and plenty of inputs and outputs for connecting to an external screen or additional storage devices.

In addition, the teasers include hints that alongside the console a wireless control controller reminiscent of the Xbox console will also be offered for sale. The OneXPlayer series products, let’s recall, are computers for all intents and purposes, on which the Windows 11 operating system is installed. They are, therefore, capable of running any game that supports the specification, and thanks in no small part to Valve’s Steam Deck, many of the popular games for the personal computer have already been adapted For control using game controllers in this configuration.

The price of the new console has not yet been revealed, but for the sake of comparison, the OneXPlayer Mini console, equipped with a Ryzen 6800U processor and a 7-inch display, is currently being sold as part of the November sales for $1,099 before shipping and customs.
