The Netherlands toured New Zealand and played in a cricket series. The last ODI was played today as New Zealand won the first two matches of the three-match ODI series 2-0.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first in the match at Hamilton. New Zealand opener Henry Nichols was bowled out for 2, but another opener, Martin Kapil, batted brilliantly. Will Young, who was paired with him for the 2nd wicket, also batted brilliantly.

Kapil and Will Young both scored 203 runs for the 2nd wicket. Kapil scored 106 and Will Young 120. The New Zealand team scored 333 runs in 50 overs with two huge centuries and a small cameo from Tom Latham and Bracewell in the back row.

Netherlands opener Stephen Myberg, who chased down a hard-fought 334, then hit a fine batting Audi fifty. He scored 64 runs. None of the other players besides him danced well. The Netherlands were all out for 218 in the 43rd over, losing wickets at regular intervals from the start.

New Zealand won by 115 runs, whitewashed the Netherlands 3-0 to win the ODI series.
