this monday in Brawl Stars it has not been a common one. And it is that we have been able to see a strange update, as rapid as it is disconcerting, removing some abilities from Willow. What many have given rise to theorizing about an important balance for the next update.
The change in question is that, for a couple of hours, a gadget and a stellar ability were removed. And despite the fact that in the last patch we already had about twenty changes, it is no secret that there are more gadgets and stars that need changes. Although to find out something more in depth we will have to wait for the next Brawl Talk in August.

Going into more detail, the skills removed were her ‘Dive’ gadget: Willow dives for 2 seconds. During this time, they can’t attack her, but she can’t attack either’; and his star ability of ‘Obsession: Manipulated enemies gain 25% movement speed while under the effects of mind control’. But after a couple of hours, they returned to their normal course.
If in those hours you entered Brawl Stars to play Willow, you either found you didn’t have stars and gadgets selected, or you automatically had the ones you didn’t select last time.
Most likely, that combination of abilities, or with others, caused a bug., and the team managed to fix it in record time. But with no official statements at the time of writing, it gives rise to speculation that they may be trying things with Willow ahead of season 20.
In a couple of weeks we will have Brawl Talk, and after it the sneak peeks that will reveal the new balance change. And we’ll find out if any of Willow’s abilities actually undergo changes after today’s experiment.
