LONDON: Wimbledon Grand Slam winners will no longer have Miss and Miss on the board in front of their names. The All England Club has announced that it will remove Miss and Mrs from the winners’ board as part of a series of tournament upgrades. Women champions were added to the list as Mrs. or Miss if they were married. At the same time the names of the male champions were written directly. This distinction was ended by the organizers. Since 2019, when it comes to scoring in women’s competitions, the phrase ‘Miss’ has been dropped.
