Microsoft has released an update for Windows 11 that includes several new features. These include support for iMessage through the Phone Link app and greater control over installing optional updates on the device. Both of these features have previously been tested in preview versions of Windows.

However, iMessage will not be available to the user’s entire correspondence, but only those messages that were sent and received using the Phone Link application. Also, it will not be possible to send photos and videos through a PC, there will be no support for groups, and all messages will appear in gray colors.

In addition, the new build has the ability to receive optional PC updates sooner or later. By default, this feature will be disabled. To enable it, you need to go to the settings and click on the option “Get the latest updates as soon as they become available”.
