American corporation Microsoft released a new build of Windows 11, which added a number of new features, including the Copilot AI tool. This is the largest update to the operating system since its release; previously, many of the new features were only available to testers from the Insider program.
Windows users can now use the Copilot AI assistant, which will help summarize an article from the Internet, generate an email, and also enable Bluetooth connectivity or a “dark” theme. The Paint application has also received new AI functions – now it can generate pictures based on a text description, and the application also has support for layers and transparency. “Scissors” can now take not only static pictures, but also capture video and audio. Using the Win+Shift+R key combination, the application will automatically switch to screen video recording mode. Also, in “Scissors” you can now copy text from a picture.
Explorer now visualizes recommended files in a new way, the design of the Favorites and Recent sections has also been updated, and RGB backlight control has been added. Links to recommended sites appeared in the Start menu, and support for RAR, 7-Zip, tar and gz archives was also added.
