Actor Winfried Glatzeder has already provided some amusing moments on “I’m a Celebrity – Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. Just a few days ago, the 79-year-old confessed that he would have liked to cheat on his wife with a colleague at the beginning of their marriage – but it never came to that.
Now the TV actor is once again making a confession. He talks to Giulia Siegel about his love life and reveals details about his first time. Not only did it happen in an unusual place, but it also had unexpected consequences.
At the campfire, Giulia Siegel asks her fellow camper to tell her about his first time. “It was a broom closet encounter. I have a son who was conceived in the broom closet,” Winfried Glatzeder replies promptly. The DJ can hardly believe her ears: “You fathered a child the first time?” she asks in disbelief. “Unfortunately, yes. And I didn’t want to,” confirms her counterpart.
According to his recollection, Winfried Glatzeder was 20 years old at the time. He describes the situation at the time as unpleasant. That is why he has not spoken about it publicly until now. “I have never been asked about it. You are the first person to ask about it so impudently,” the Polish-born man told Giulia Siegel.
Winfried Glatzeder has been married to his wife Marion since 1970. According to media reports, the couple has two sons, including actor Robert Glatzeder. The 79-year-old is also said to have another son from a previous relationship. It is not known whether this is the child Glatzeder reported on in the jungle camp.
On August 15, “I’m a Celebrity – The Showdown of the Jungle Legends” started on RTL+. On linear television, the special broadcast to mark the show’s 20th anniversary only started one day later.
As usual, the jungle camp will be hosted by Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen. However, this year “I’m a Celebrity – The Showdown of the Jungle Legends” will not take place in Australia, but in South Africa. The show was also recorded. Filming took place several weeks ago.
