In the last meeting, the Lithuanian team defeated the Latvian team 3:2 (2:2). In total, our team scored 9 points and took the first place among the four teams and became the winners of the tournament.

Let us remind you that in the first match, the Lithuanians defeated the team of the Faroe Islands 3:2, and then even crushed their peers from Estonia 6:1.

Friday’s match started at a hurricane pace – in the first 20 minutes of the match, Lithuania scored two goals, however, by the end of the quarter, the Latvian team responded with two accurate shots of their own.

The second half was already going more calmly, there were no fireworks of such goals. For a while, neither team managed to score, however, as the match drew to a close, Lithuanian forward Paulina Mockutė scored her third goal, thus once again putting the Lithuanian team ahead.

During the remaining time, the Lithuanians managed to defend themselves, win the third victory and thus become the winners of the tournament.
