“I always lived music,” says Adi. “Since the age of 5 I have been playing the piano and also singing and it is an integral part of my life.”

Tell us about your musical project

“The musical project for women empowerment started from my personal experiences. I wanted to bring my voice, which is basically the voice of every woman and girl because in the end each one experienced the pain I experienced but especially her, whether it was a negative body image, low self esteem or anything. Another that caused the girl to feel insecure in her body.It can be anything from body type, body hair, skin tone, physical disability, curly / afro hair, slanted eyes and more.

The project includes a variety of songs, which deal with these issues such as positive body image, self-acceptance, integration of A. women with disabilities, empowerment of women who experienced emotional violence in relationships and all types of domestic violence, gender equality and more to empower women and girls in Israel and around the world. More for women and girls through music. I combine my academic background, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology, to convey these messages, which touch many women and girls in everyday life, and create real change through the music I create. ”

And does music have the effect required to do so?

“Absolutely. Music has the power to connect and create social change. The Musical Project for the Empowerment of Women was created to raise public awareness of issues that concern women in everyday life through music. The project brings sensitivity, listening, good energies and motivation to change the discourse and reality in which women live. They deserve to be respected for their rights, their needs and to have equal opportunities in all aspects of life. “

Adi’s important project has been recognized and co-authored by UN Women (UN), the international magazine ELLE Magazine, the morning program “Open Day” on Channel 13, Onlife magazine and co-published by time and other magazines.

Is your project now participating in a national competition?

“Right. I’m taking part in a national competition called ‘Miss Peaks de Universe.’

And winning a contest will help you leverage your project?

“Certainly. So far I have funded this project on my own, and it is very very (very) expensive so it is not simple at all. Winning a competition will help me get a certain amount of money that will help me continue to record and create the social change I wish for.”

We’re with you, how can I help you win?

“With the help of votes on the Miss Pix de Universe website. The more votes I have, the more likely I am to win the competition and continue to create.”

What will be considered a success for you?

“Success for me is that the issues through the songs will rise, change the public consciousness and lead to the creation of real change in education and the enactment of new laws that will do good for girls and women.”
