BEIJING: Norway tops the medal tally as the Winter Olympics in China draw to a close today.
Like the Olympics, the Winter Olympics are held every 4 years. Only games that can be played in the freezer will be included. The 24th Winter Olympics begin on the 4th in the Chinese capital Beijing and end today.
2,871 athletes from 91 countries participated, including China, Australia, Brazil, USA, Norway, England, Germany, Japan and India. In this case, Norway topped the list with 35 medals, including 15 gold.
Germany is in 2nd place with 24 medals including 11 gold. China is in 3rd place with 15 medals including 9 gold. The United States is in 4th place with 24 medals, including 8 gold.
