/ Winter contracts strengthened the ranks of several Iraqi clubs, while Najaf Club had the largest share of the contracts.

Najaf Football Club signed a contract with the Tunisian professional, “Al-Bashir Bin Muhammad,” coming from the Tunisian club Ittihad Ben Guerdane, and it also contracted with the Senegalese player, “Mendy,” coming from the Tunisian Stadium Club.

The player, Muhammad Daoud, moved to the ranks of Al-Najaf Club, coming from Al-Shorta Club, on loan.

In addition, striker Haider Abdel Rahim joined the ranks of Naft Maysan Club, coming from Al-Najaf Club, while Amanat Baghdad Club announced its contract with the Egyptian player, Mohamed Ahmed Atouh, coming from the Egyptian Al-Dakhiliya Club.

It is noteworthy that the Najaf Club management contracted with coach Abdul Ghani Shahd to lead Najaf football, after the resignation of the Egyptian Hamza Al-Jamal, after the end of the 12th round of the Iraq Stars League.

The Iraq Stars Football League was suspended at the 12th round of the Iraqi national team’s participation in the Asian Championship, which is taking place in Qatar.
