Terrible news from the world of winter sports.
The Italian ski legend Deborah Compagnoni (51) mourns the loss of her little brother Jacopo (40). The mountain guide was swept away by an avalanche on Thursday and died.
As reported by Italian media, he was on a ski tour with a friend near his home, the municipality of Valfurva in Lombardy at an altitude of 2,850 meters.
But suddenly the snow went off!
