Maria Clemente -deputy of Morena, denounced a series of attacks by the police during the march for trans visibility.

“The 4T is forgetting the maxim that FOR THE GOOD OF ALL, THE POOR FIRST (sic),” Clemente wrote in his profile.
In the clip he shared he showed the moment when they were sprayed with gas to disperse the contingent.
“Hello. I am here in the Zócalo with my fellow marchers. We have just been attacked by the police and they are spraying us with gas, as you can see. “The trans population does not deserve this, the 4T betrays the people of Mexico!” denounced the Morenista deputy.

Other attendees of the march also made complaints on social networks against the capital police who used gas to disperse the march.
“The police don’t take care of me, my friends take care of me” and “It’s not illegal for trans people,” are the slogans heard in the videos shared by users present at the march.
In response to the complaints, the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) noted that some protesters set fires so “The uniformed officers used the fire extinguishers to put it out; “A can of gasoline was seized.”
