24 hours before the march for the 10 years of Ayotzinapa Caseseveral streets surrounding the Zócalo are fenced with concrete.

This, because in a tour carried out by this newspaper through the first square of the capital, it was found that at 4 intersections of avenues surrounding the Plaza de la Constitución there are concrete security barriers.

The moles are found at the crossroads of:

• Pino Suárez with Venustiano Carranza
• November 20 and Venustiano Carranza
• September 16 and Palma
• May 5 and Palma

The measures are added to the metal fences in front of the National Palace and the streets on its sides: Moneda and Corregidora, where there are also dozens of elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security, some with anti-riot equipment.

This is the first time in the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador that the measure is taken prior to the marches demanding truth and justice for the 43 normalistas who disappeared on the night of September 26 to 27, 2014 in Iguala, Guerrero.

In addition, the concrete barriers are added to those that were placed in the vicinity of the Ministry of the Interior, after alleged students from several rural normal schools, in addition to Isidro Burgos – where the 43 enrolled – threw firecrackers in that area as well. as to the Senate of the Republic.

The demonstration this Thursday, the day that marks a decade since the State Crime, takes place in the context of the end of the dialogue between President Andrés Manuel López Obrador with the parents of the young people, in addition to the investigation of the case that has been headed for almost 2 years by the Mexican president, he went from mentioning the Army to placing the burden of the setbacks in the investigations on a criminal and a journalist.

On August 27, Vidulfo Rosales, lawyer for the victims’ families, after the last meeting with the outgoing President said that:

“The parents’ position is that today is the last meeting. We do not see conditions for a next meeting. The meetings are only confrontations (…) the President also agreed (…) if you no longer want us not to meet, we will not meet”.

At the same time, the activist also commented that the case registered progress until 2021, the year in which it was “they touched the heartstrings” of the Army, from which point the Defense began to hinder the work of the investigators involved and deny information that could contribute to the resolution of the case.
