Deloitte, which opened its new offices in the city of Ioannina.

Listening to the development potential of the region, one of the largest companies, with a history of 175 years internationally and almost half a century in Greece, decided to follow a series of other large companies and invest in the talent of the new graduates of the University of Ioannina, in the productive activity of the region and in its natural environment.

The company Deloitte, as both CEO Dimitris Koutsopoulos and the president of the Deloitte Alexander Competence Center (DACC), Vassilis Kafatos, made clear, is guided by the needs of the future and this is reflected both in the innovative services it provides to its clients, and and in the education and training of its employees.

“We believe in the prospects of Ioannina, it is a very beautiful, modern city, with a long multicultural history and auspicious future,” noted Mr. Kafatos, expressing his gratitude to Moses Elisaf, “a bright man, who told us with directness and persuasion “you must come to Ioannina”. And we came,” he concluded.

The opening ceremony of the offices, housed in the Epirus Science and Technology Park, was attended by, among others, the regional governor Alexandros Kahrimanis, the deputy regional governors Agni Nakou and Odysseas Potsis, the mayor Dimitris Papageorgiou and the vice-mayors of Ioannina Giorgos Arletos and Giorgos Lolis, the president of the Scientific and Technological Park of Epirus Alcibiades Paipetis, representatives of the University of Ioannina, as well as productive bodies, such as the president of APSI “Pindos” Andreas Dimitriou and, on behalf of the Bank of Epirus, Yiannis Vougioukas and Vassilis Tsoukanelis. The ceremony was officiated by the Metropolitan of Ioannina, Mr. Maximos.

It was everyone’s wish that the company, together with the ecosystem of companies gathered in Ioannina, succeed not only in “absorbing” the human resources, but also to be the occasion for the return of all those who in recent years left their place in search of better future.

“We didn’t wait for the talents to come to us, we came to the talents”, stressed Deloitte CEO Dimitris Koutsopoulos in his greeting at the opening of the branch in the Epirus Science and Technology Park.
